Daniel Nils Roberts is a comedian, writer and actor, and one of the leading comic improvisers in the UK.
As well as numerous other performing and writing projects, he stars in West End smash Austentatious, writes and performs with BAFTA-winning online comedy series History Bombs, and has performed sellout solo comedy shows around the world.
He is a founder of cult improvised comedy favourites Racing Minds, with whom he has masterminded a hit podcast with over half a million SoundCloud followers and recorded an original series for Audible.
As a performer and writer he is signed to leading agency Noel Gay.
Austentatious
Austentatious is one of the most successful live comedy phenomena of the decade, having taken the Edinburgh Fringe by storm, won numerous prestigious awards, had their own BBC Radio 4 shows, and exploded onto London’s West End at the Piccadilly, Savoy and Fortune Theatres. Daniel is one of eight group members, alongside some of the biggest stars in UK comedy.
Solo Shows
Daniel’s solo shows have been nominated for ‘Best Comedy’ at Perth Fringe World and Buxton Fringe, and The History of the World in 1 Hour was a total sell-out at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe at Underbelly, and was selected as one of ‘The Scotsman Critics’ Best Comedy Shows To See This Year’.
His productions have received ★★★★ reviews from publications including The Scotsman, Fest, Broadway Baby, The West Australian and Fringe Guru.
